Who to ask, and about what
There is no inbox on this site. Questions about the app go to its developer through the App Store listing. Questions about your course or card go to your Training Center, because only an AHA Training Center or AHA instructor can issue the card.
App
The app, or a practice card
The app button below opens the app's App Store listing. The listing names the developer and links to the developer's own pages, which is the route for questions about the app. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple through your Apple account, not by us.
Think a practice card is wrong? Note the card number and topic printed on its front, and what you expected the answer to be. That is enough for us to find it and check it against the 2025 Guidelines. Send it through the developer's links on the App Store listing.
Card
Your course, card or eCard
We have no access to AHA records, so we cannot issue, verify, look up or replace a card. The people who can are the ones who ran your course: only an AHA Training Center or AHA instructor can issue the card.
Course and card questions, and who answers
- Booking a class, dates, cost
- An AHA Training Center near you. Each center sets its own prices.
- A missing eCard or a wrong name
- The Training Center that ran your course.
- Precourse self-assessment access
- The Training Center or the AHA site you enrolled through.
- Exam length and pass mark
- Your instructor. The count is usually about 50 multiple-choice questions (as AHA Training Centers report it; confirm the count with yours).
- When your card runs out
- The date printed on it. Cards are generally treated as valid through the end of the month printed on them.
- Proof of a card for an employer
- The Training Center that issued it.
The AHA lists every way to take the course on its ACLS course options page (opens the AHA site).
Exam
Questions about the exam itself
If what you really need is to know what the course asks of you, the answers are already on this site. The ACLS exam guide covers the three parts and renewal, and the precourse practice gets you past the 70% line before class.
Three questions, three places
- App or a practice card: the developer, through the App Store listing.
- Course, card or eCard: your AHA Training Center.
- Exam rules on the day: your instructor.
