Privacy

Privacy policy

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no accounts or forms. The one thing we record is a click on an app button: it passes through our redirect, which logs the click.

Pages

Reading the pages and using the cards

The pages are plain files. They load no tracking scripts, advertising or pixels, and the fonts are served from this site, so reading a page sends nothing to a third party.

The practice deck runs in your browser. Your answers and score are not sent anywhere and are not saved: reload the page and they are gone. We never see how you scored.

Like any web host, the provider that serves these files handles your IP address to deliver them and to block abuse. We add no analytics on top of that.

Clicks

When you tap an app button

The Get the iPhone app buttons point to go.aclsprecourse.com, our redirect. It sends iPhones to the App Store and everyone else to a page with the store link and the free practice test. As it does that, it logs the click on our server:

One app-button click, as logged

The page and the button
Which page you were on and which button you used.
Time
When the click happened.
IP address
The address your request came from.
Approximate location
Country, region, city and time zone as guessed from the IP address, the name of your network provider, and which data center answered.
Browser and device
The user-agent string, used to tell an iPhone from other devices.
Where you were sent
The App Store, the redirect's own page, or the practice test.

The redirect sets no cookie, and we ask for no name or email, so a click is not tied to an account. We use the log to count which pages send readers to the app, which tells us which pages are worth improving. It is not used for advertising and it is not sold.

Links

The App Store and other sites

The App Store link carries a campaign tag naming this site. Apple uses it to show the app's developer, as totals, how many store visits and downloads came from this site. Once you are in the App Store, Apple's privacy policy applies, and the listing shows the app's own privacy details before you download.

Links to the AHA open the AHA course pages (opens the AHA site), which have their own policies. Nothing from those sites is embedded here.

Updates

Questions and changes

There is no mailbox. A question about this policy goes through the developer's links on the app's App Store listing, as the contact page explains. When the site starts recording something new, this page changes first.
